About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Budtenders. As a budtender at DCC , you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and educating our guests about the wonderful world of cannabis. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where customers feel comfortable exploring and discovering the products that best suit their needs.
Responsibilities:
– Customer Service Excellence:Â Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Product Knowledge:Â Provide accurate and insightful information about cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, effects, and safety.
– Needs Assessment:Â Listen attentively to customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable products.
– Sales & Transactions:Â Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
– Inventory Management:Â assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and ensuring product freshness.
– Compliance:Â Adhere to all DC cannabis regulations and company policies.
– Store Maintenance:Â Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dispensary environment.
– Teamwork:Â Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
– Brand advocacy:Â Embody the DCC brand values and contribute to our positive community image.
Qualifications:
– Passion for Cannabis:Â Genuine enthusiasm for cannabis and a desire to share your knowledge with others.
– Cannabis Knowledge:Â Strong understanding of different cannabis strains, products, consumption methods, and effects.
– Customer Service Experience:Â Proven experience in providing excellent customer service in a retail or hospitality setting.
– Communication Skills:Â Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.Â
– Interpersonal Skills:Â Ability to build rapport with customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
– Team Player:Â Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– Reliability & Punctuality:Â Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
– Problem-Solving Skills:Â Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
– Must be 21+ years of age.
– Must be able to pass a background check.
